Carmen Verde Luna
Do not miss Carmen Verde Luna if you are in the mood for some authentic seafood. Located in the Albayzín area, this restaurant offers alfresco dining with a breathtaking view of the Alhambra. Mostly popular with young couples, Carmen Verde Luna is your best option, if you want to treat your partner to a quiet and romantic dinner. A co-operative and friendly staff is ever ready to guide you through the impressive menu. No matter what you have for main course, start your meal with the restaurant's famous Gaszpcho Soup.
the menu was quite evidently put together by someone with not just excellent command of the English language but also a passion for food and a wish to surprise and please the guests. Each item that was presented came beautifully put together by a chef who is possibly also an artist with a real love of creating. The waiter was kind and informative and the (I suppose) lady owner welcomed us as if we had been her own friends dinning at her table. A couple of nice touches come in the shape of a non-alcoholic complementary drink and an immensely artistic vegetable mousse. The food was (often) locally sourced too, even the avocadoes and mangoes. Full marks, I'd definitely go again!!!! You can also see the restaurant from the Alhambra distinguishable by its green canopy
When I entered Carmem Verde Luna for the first time to make a reservation, I was surprised by the beautiful view it has. When my family and I came back at night, we were very well treated and the food was one of the best we had in Spain!! The young man that took care of us, probably the owner, was proud of his place and tried to do everything perfectly.
When we came back home, we ordered the wine we had there. Everything was delicious!!
