Cafe de la Paix (Le), Paris

I see from other reviews I am not the first! I was disgusted to watch a mouse run accross the room and under my table then to be seen at the side of my chair (inside the cafe not on the pavement). I told the waiter expetng an apology and to be offered to move table but he shrugged sullenly as if to say 'completly normal'. I was made to feel as if I was the abnormal one even pointng this out. I have just left this cafe, I feel quite sick at the thought of the mouse and the raw tuna I ate... are the mice in the kitchen also?. The service was apalling. The waiters surly and rude and I had to ask to give my order after waiting 20 minutes. I saw 3 waiters in all around the cafe all looked as miserable and unfriendly as each other. A place like this, that is meant to be a top Paris cafe by a beautiful landmark should be ashamed of itself. This is the first ever review I have felt compelled to make but I want to save anyone else from this dirty, rip off cafe. Avoid! avoid! avoid!
