Maceo, Paris

My son and I were looking for Chez Georges and it was closed. We were walking through the streets in the rain and looked in the window and decided to try Maceo. I had never heard of it. We entered and were asked if we had a reservation. We did not. There was one table available and the staff apologized that it was not a very good table. We didn't care. It was like the food gods were looking down on us. The service was wonderful, the decor was not fussy at all and the food was superb. I would recommend Maceo to anyone. We had the best time. Relaxed, well paced, and the surprise dining experience of our entire trip to Paris. I will remember that night forever.
