If you think this Nobu outlet is about Michelin stars and London's glitterati, you're in for disappointment. The no-reservation policy received a lot of flak, but the restaurant continues to be crowded irrespective. Top-notch Japanese cuisine and swanky environs inspires diners, who don't mind shelling out the dough. Miso soup, sushi bar, sashimi, Lobster Wasabi, Wagyu Beef, and other gastronomical creations please the palate. The staff can be indifferent, and the 15 percent service charge adds insult to the injury. But if you're a food critic or want to rub shoulders with the who's-who of filmdom, Nobu is an experience you won't want to miss.
