360 gives you the best of both worlds- the nostalgia of Istanbul and the modern vibey style of dining with funky global cuisine influenced by local ingredients with trendy loungy music moving into up tempo house music late night.A definite when vacation. We have been twice and have always have a good experience.We found it from the Time magazine which headed it as 'nicely rounded' which is exactly what we experienced.Food wholesome-cocktails great. nice food nice people, when you in there you feel like surrended by excellent Istanbul view. crowded during weekends, open until 2 am in the weekdays 4 am in the weekend

Bar: The best thing is to forget about your favourite cocktails and tell the award winning barmen "impress me". Believe me he will!!! Atmosphere: Set in a penthouse atop a 19th-century apartment on the old embassy row, it does indeed offer 360-degree heart stopping views of Istanbul. The Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, the St. Antoine Church and Hagia Sophia... Party: The best parties of istanbul with special guests like Martin Solveig, Alix Alvarez, Dj Collette, Bah Samba, Gary Nesta Pine, Matthias Tanzmann, Rachael Starr, Chris Lawyer... Voted in Magazines as: "Hottest night spots" in New York Times,"A top Restaurant in Istanbul" in CNN Traveler, "This is the Place to See and be Seen" in Wallpaper and many other Magazines.

i had read about 360 in many travel books.. i made a reservation through our hotel.. its not the easiest place to find and when we did find it. we asked a young lady is this where 360 is , she replied yes and was waiting for the elevator with us, to be conversational i asked how is it she replied its great i work here.. so we continued in the elevator btw its about 100 years old.. so we finally reached 360.. waited 10 min no one greated ... so being from europe i went and sat my self.. this was at 5:00 pm. i was amazed by the view.. me and my friend picked the table a 2 seater .. the lady who was in the elevator came to us.. in a really bad attitude you need to move .. i said excuse me i made reservations.. you did not great me.. the restraunt was empty no one there.. she said u can sit over there. the seat was not what i reserved i could not see the view.. she told me to move my chair was really rude and we begin to argue for 10 minutes back and forth.. i told her i will sit on the high table.. she said thats only for drinks.. she started yelling at me... i finally got to talk to a manager.. and he told me that the table is reserved for 8:00 pm. i laughed really loud and said its only 445. pm. i will eat and thats all.. you cannot yell at people.. the staff the waitors were not helpful with the menu.. but the drinks were really good.

We have been here three times. Since the opeing the interior has changed. It was much better then it is now. Too much tables and chairs. Where are the lovely white round cuaches? We only had drinks there. View is wonderfull and it's included in the price of the drinks. For an even better view, go to the bar on the rooftop of the Marmara Pera Hotel. whether you finish your food or not when time is up you need to vacate your table!!! No other restaurant in any metropol has this business mentality. godd food, great ambiance, most unpleasant-most dissapointing ending of your dinner experience. We were asked to vacate our table while sipping our champaignes. First I thought it was the thoughtless waiter, but no. The manager of the restaurant confirmed that this was the "policy" which he abnoxiously claimed that it was the "trend" in most modern restaurants!!! A trend that has no place in Turkish, European or American culture. A perfect way of ending a romantic dining!

I have been here several times, for dinner or for drinks with friends and with my husband. My husband is quite friendly with the owners, and I've always had a good time. Food is good, different from the usual Turkish cuisine, but not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination. Drinks menu is extensive and they serve great cocktails, and actually not that pricey (for a restaurant in Turkey). The views are incredible, for the 270 degrees that overlook Sultanahmet, the Bosphorus and Istiklal. Good luck getting a table that lets you enjoy them though! The whole restaurant/bar fusion concept is a little strange. If you are there for a late dinner, expect them to start clearing away tables and to have loud music start pumping during dessert. My biggest complaint is the dinner service. On the occasions when I have come with my husband, not a problem, but when I have come with friends... Awful, truly terrible service. At best, waiters are forgetful and oblivious; at worst, downright rude. I was embarassed to have brought my friends and recommended the place. After the incident that took place at 360 not too long ago, I will be finding a new rooftop restaurant to bring guests to. This place needs a major attitude adjustment.

Having read reviews in both Time Out magazine and a local Turkish publication, I immediately made a reservation to eat at 360. The restaurant is located on Istiklak, the main shopping street in Instanbul on the top floor of an apartment. The view is breathtaking. When I arrived at 10 pm (on time), I was told my table would not be ready for 10 minutes, so I had a drink at the bar. At 10:30 when I inquired on my table, I was told a table was ready. It was a table that obviously was not used, since it was in the most high traffic area of the restaurant, offering no views, other than the staff and guests going to and from the toilets. I asked for a table outside, as I had originally. It wasn't until 11 pm that I was seated. While the waiter was taking my order, and I was asking about daily specials (there aren't any), another waiter handed him plates to take to another table and my waiter literally walked away from me while I was in mid-sentence to assist another waiter. When I returned, I explained that I thought that was inconsiderate, his response was, "This is how we do it in Turkey." Rather than cause a confrontation, I bit my tongue and placed my order. To make a long story short, the food was adequate - I couldn't complain. I had the East/West platter, featuring variations of beef. I probably should have ordered seafood, as I've had some of the best seafood in the world in Istanbul. But, regardless, the meat was prepared well and the portion was sufficient. Layout of the meal was also innovative. However, based on the absolutely atrocious service, I cannot justify a favorable rating for this establishment.

completetley over priced, food is terrible, service ok !! if you have lots of money to waste and feel disappointed try it... apart from it's view not worth a visit...

We wher ereally surprised that Istanbul has such a slick-trendy operation.Setting aside local style entertainment.Most other places where sub standard copies of other restaurants around the world. 360 pleased us in aspects of a great night out. Highly reccomended and a definite when on a trip to the new COOL ISTANBUL.
