Flamm, Istanbul

The chef of Flamm knows what he does. Food is excellent, but most other parts of an enjoyable dinner are not appropriate. a) you´re almost alone... just a few tables were used by guests whereas most other restaurants around were fully packed. b) service is absolutely unappropriate for such a venue and price class. waiters were not typicall Turkish friendly and seem to be of low skills as well c) the wine we picked from the wine list was NOT available as a starter we picked as well as a main course... ??? Why do they have this stuff on the menue? But again: the chef did a great job! Be careful, you may get better service and more value for price elsewhere... enjoy Istanbul, a great city!
