Hawaii Food Tours, Honolulu

3rd vacation to Hawaii, wished we had done this tour the previous times as well. Matthew & Keira made us feel like 'ohana. What a fun & knowledgable couple, they made this experience the best ever. A taste of culture is the best way to experience Hawaii. Will return to do the tour again!!

I wish we'd scheduled this tour for earlier in our stay because we learned SO MUCH about the various cultures that have all come together in Hawaii. Keira & Matt are delightful and will amaze you with their knowledge of the origin & history of foods that are uniquely Hawaiian. We listened, we ATE, we laughed, we ATE, and had a most enjoyable day together. I recommend making this your #1 First day experience in Oahu as we were introduced to many places that we'll make a point of visiting when we come back. It was also fun to make friends with other group members and to share their experiences.

I liked everything on the food tour.Except it was a littl expensive.But i paid anyways.And the food was really great

Matthew & Keira showed us Honolulu the way great friends would. They are funny foodies who really love their city of Honolulu, offering lots of the yummiest foods available. Truly, this tour is like no other we've ever taken. The groups are kept small (about 10 people) so everyone on the tour feels like they're being treated special. We were taken to about 7 different places; two bakeries, a behind the scenes tasting tour of Chinatown (wow!), a sit-down "plate lunch" shop, and so much more. There was even a part of the tour where we saw the royal palace, government buildings, the Mayor's office, that beautiful missionary church, and all the lovely Christmas/Holiday decorations. We'd go back in a jiffy. Be sure to book this tour in advance and try to do it at the beginning of your vacation in Hawaii because Matthew & Keira are a wealth of fantastic information that will help make your Hawaii vacation even better!

We learned about the Hole in the Wall Tour when the Food Network profiled Hawaii Food Tours. We visited Honolulu, joined the tour and loved every minute of it. We tried about 20 different foods, laughed and learned about the foods of Hawaii. The owners & hosts, Matthew & Keira, were fantastic. They even dropped off a nice bottle of wine the day after our tour at our hotel! Just amazing, generous and smart people with great customer service. Do. This. Tour. Today.

This is the most outstanding tour in Hawaii. This is our 3rd trip in the last 6 years and we thought we had saw and experiences everything the Island had to offer. We experienced sampling of food we never knew existed in the Hole in the Wall Tour. Along with the tour, we were given historical information on the businesses, but on the city as well. We were given information and locations about other activities on the Island,. We met wonderful new people and had the best day of our vacation. We were in a group of 10, but my husand and I felt we received tons of individual attention. We received recipes on our favorite foods we tasted, directions, telephone numbers and address of each place we visited, so we could go back on our own, which we did. a great experience thru oahu china town, local eateries and fried delights. both of them were informative and enjoyable.. would definetly recommend for a foodie and anyone interested in non touristy tours

Fantastic! Awesome! Fun! This was one of the best tours I’ve been on. Great food, lots of information, interesting facts and history, and most important – great guides. My wife and I just moved to the Island and really wanted to find some nice, out of the way places of Honolulu. Hawaiian Food Tours was perfect. All the establishments were excellent food choices and will suggest all our visitors to try their tours.
