Excellent sashimi at a little hole in the wall joint. Good prices on the combo meals where you get a free miso soup. We ordered edemame and two sushi combos and the edemame came out last (about 5 minutes later). Odd! The service is mediocre and it's strangely difficult to get the server's attention for such a small restaurant. The raw fish was succulent though, and I will be making many return visits.

Ordered sushi lunch. Not exciting at all. Small place with sad music playing. Sushi chef not friendly. Sushi discolored and poor texture. Salad dressing consistent with mayonaise and no flavor at all. Soup was ok but the bowl smelled like dish detergent soap. The california roll was rolled to perfection. I wouldn't recommend it unless you wanted to eat california rolls.

The food is priced at about average for sushi restaurants in the area. It is very cramped space, you could probably have a normal conversation with the table next to yours. The service needs to be worked on. It wasn't horrible, but was not great either. Some of the waitresses can sometimes look at you like you are dumb or ask for a ridiculous requests for some more water. Other than that, it tries to give off a hole in the wall vibe like you are in new york. So if you don't mind a little rude service, and a little above average food...then this is the place for you.
