The Best Pizza

The pizza was the best I'd ever had. The crust was both crispy and chewy. The flavor of the sauce and cheese was amazing. We ate on pie and quickly ordered another. It was delicious.

Don't waste your time

I have been in Naples in search of the best pizza. On everyone's list is Da Michele. I should have known not to go when the locals told me not to waste my time, but I had to try it. Too much sauce, limp crust (a real no no for true naples pizza)Why people would take numbers and wait in line,for this place i do not know. I found a great unknown place called La Piazzetta on via n. sauro. Great pizza!

Wasted time trying to find it because it is not the best pizza in Naples.Just look around you will find better pizza places. As far as this one i will never go back there and i was born near Naples. I would not recomend it to any of my friemds that go to Italy.

best pizza in the world...it's amazing a pizza that costs around 5 dollars can be considered best in the world. this year i'm going again to italy and i plan to stop by this place

best pizza in Naples

I lived in Naples for 5 years and this pizzeria is a must if you're looking for authenticity. My friends (Neapolitans) and I always went there when we were craving pizza and a Neapolitan atmosphere.

Magnificient da michele.....

I loved the authenticity and simpicity of this place. It was the cheapest food and the best that I had in Italy. Great place to go with kids and with a large group. I often crave the crispy, delicious pizza that I had in Napoli. I only wished they delivered! :)

Good, Cheap, Fast

This little place is just off the main shopping street, an easy walk from the main train station. Service is fast (the pizza oven is so hot it takes only 1 minute to cook a pie - yes, I timed it) and prices are low, so its the perfect spot to take hungry, cranky kids. Just Margherita and Marinara pizzas, Coke, beer, and bottled water. No real ambiance - just old marble tables. the wood fired oven, and a continuous stream Neapolitans, young and old. Pizzas run 3.50 - 4.50, drinks are all 1.20 euros.
