Bottoms Up Pizza
Dirk Graham has always been a fan of pizza. During the 1980s, Dirk traveled around the city of Richmond and surrounding areas in hopes of finding a great pizza. Frustrated by his search, Dirk turned to his friend, Fabian Botto, a restauranteur, who was known for his quality cuisine. Fabian soon became Dirkac2s mentor and taught him the secrets to making his specialty crust and sauces.

Who would have known pizza could be so good. This coming from a NY girl who knows what pizza really is. Awsome variety, great value and super friendly staff. The only thing that I would have to complain about is parking...but that's the bottom for ya.
This place is one of my favorite places to dine when I want to be around a festive atmosphere where the pizza and drinks or the best in the city. The place was out of action for while when it was flooded out amost two years ago. However, it back now and better than ever. There's always a fun crowd on hand, the music appeals to everyone and the food it first rate. Excellent place to take a date before kicking off a night on the town. Also, close to some of the citys hot entertainment spots.
I finally gave in and visited what is supposed to be the best pizza in Richmond. I was less than impressed with the food. However, I will say that the atmosphere is great and a good place to take a date. You can find easily better pizza in Richmond. We had a white sauce pizza and added shrimp but it was bland and tasteless. If you are craving pizza this isn't the place to go.
I went to Bottoms Up Pizza for the first time over the weekend. First off, I had five people recommend it to me before going so I was sure it would be a great experience. I had a slice of mexican pizza. It was a huge slice and mexican is exactly what it was. It was covered with cheese, jalapenos, beaf, and sour cream. It wasn't too hot and was definitely mexican. I would recommend Bottoms Up Pizza to anyone and as I understand it, Bottom Up is a legend around here. Now I understand why!
This place has by far the biggest pizza a person can eat. Not only is it large but the ingredients are well prepared. Its a great place to be on a friday or saturday night because the place is jammed with young ppl. It was good before the flood we had and after having to shut down and reopen..its even better. I recommend anyone who comes to Richmond to stop through.
