Good Taste Chinese Restaurant, Richmond

the food w as NOT good at all, very soggy, the service was VERY VERY BAD! don't eat here...I agree with the the others...the place was very dirty and I didn't see any hair nets or gloves.

shmeh, the food isn't too bad and the service is OK. this is the closet chinese joint near my house so I always order from them regardless. Their lunch and dinner specials are very fairly sized aka, HUGE and CHEAP!! General Tso is pretty good, I don't know about their beef and broccoli though, the beef is kinda soft. I've never ordered their fried rice but I get it with the Lunch and Dinner combination. The rice isn't that great, it's pretty mediocre, but when mixed with the General Tso it's pretty good. Hot and Sour soup isn't that great, there's not enough meat in it and waaaay too many mushrooms. Lo-Mein is really good but the pt size is really small and I think it's a little overpriced for that size. However the lunch combo lo-mein comes in a bowl with rice??? wtf WHY? So it gets a little hard to see how they portioned the noodles. I don't like that they serve their lunch specials in ALUMINUM, aka you can't put it in the microwave to reheat it and closing it gets a little tedious.

The food was really good! The best since I've arrived in Richmond from up North.

i called twice after there call disconnected only to call back and be put on hold twice for 15 mins. finally i said if ur that busy ill call else where. more people working the phones and better customer service would be appreciated.

This has been my favorite place to get Chinese food since 1997 when I first moved to Richmond. It is the best around. I live in Chesapeake now but sometimes I drive to Richmond to get some take out. It is just that good!!!!

Great Chinese food on or off a budget. I highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken. Their lunch specials are large enough to have it for two meals. Dinner special is even larger. I also recommend the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. Egg Rolls are yummy. I also recommend their lunch buffet, if you are into them.

I guess most college kids enjoy the fact that this place is cheap but I rather find it not worth the time and money. In the beginning I enjoyed eating here but after my current experiences I was left rather repulsed. I ordered small vs. large for the amount and rice was probably enough for a child. The sweet and sour chicken was not good, the sauce was completely watered down Also my friend ordered Lo Mein which tasted actually it didn't have a taste. The noodles weren't bad but they were very tasteless and bland, with no hints of flavor to them. I personally would recommend Peking's, its a bit overpriced but its worth it, than eating at Good Taste

I am very funny when it comes to chinese food and where to get it from. Good Taste is so enjoyable. I also order out from them and I get the dope General Tso's Chicken. The Fried Rice and the Egg Rolls are really good. I haven't dine in that one either, but when you order out I guarentee you will order from them again.
