3rd Street Diner, Richmond

3rd Street is under new management - the food and service have improved. They have good deals on lunch buffet. They also have a live blues band every Saturday at 11pm. Different vibe for the diner.

Things change. I understand 3rd Street is under new management and really trying to get that ole time diner feel back. Give it a try and let us hear. I tried lunch last week and it was really good comfort food also, I was in and out and spent $5.52. Good lunch and great price.

Great late night spot for some food. Also a big fan of the breakfast items. A bargain and pretty fast service.

The food is inexpensive. The restaurant is certainly open till late at night (I ate there at midnight). They have a couple of vegetarian options. The service was pretty slow, and the room was smokey. The food was a little too greasy for my taste, but I got more than I paid for. Service is above-average. Perfect after-party hangout.

The best burger in town. It's actually a real home made burger. Better then my former favorite 5 Guys. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

really bad- we left before we were even served our food- we told the waitress to just charge us for drinks and it still took 20 min to get our change back-and we left as hungry as we went in- used to be a great vintage place that you got served quick- the ONE waitress that was serving people spent 20 minutes talking to 2 guys next to us before she took our drink order for the second time- Hate to say it- but they should just shut down- Service is not in their vocabulary

We just left the worst place I have ever been to in my entire life. We waited at the table for 25mins before anyone asked us if we needed a drink. Finally she asked us and we got them 10 mins later. The food came out late. We were so upset... Then we tried to pay and the waiter was no where to be found. We went to pay and they to us no. We waited for the waiter 15 mins... finally I said... lets go... the manager finally showed up... She ended up curse at us and call my friend the "N" word. Billy's wife the manager and ODC is are so cheep and nasty. I will never visit either place again and I don't trust them. I hope they are not allowed to get their green cards this year.

I WAS A 3RD ST DINER CUSTOMER FROM A WHILE BACK. SINCE THE RENOVASION IM PLEASANTLY SUPRISED! FAST SERVICE ,GOOD FOOD, COOL ATMOSPHERE....I SEE WHY SOME PEOPLE WOULD WANT TO SABOTAGE THAT! GOOD JOB GUYS . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! V.C.U. MED.STUDENT

I have eaten here a few times for sit down and a few times for take-out. The last time I ordered I found several hairs in my eggs and my hash browns were floating in a layer of grease. The place is dark and grungy. Some of the waitreses look like Suicide Girls. You have to be very drunk to enjoy this place.

we went late after a club closed, the place was only about 1/4 full and it took a whole hour to get our food, which was so-so at best. our waiter actually had the nerve to tell us the kitchen was "backed up". i'd hate to see what would happen if they were busy. the service was poor and way too slow. we won't go back.
