Open for breakfast and lunch only. If you like a place with colonial decor and atmosphere, this is for you. We have eaten breakfast here many times and have thoroughly enjoyed the decor, the food, and the courteous staff. The variety on the menu is not great, but there is enough to please everyone. After eating, take a visit to their unique gift shop across the hall from the restaurant.

This is a wonderful place to dine for breakfast or lunch. The price and the quality of the food is excellent!! You get so much more for your money than any restraunt in the williamsbirg area. The chicken and dumplings with the unique square ham biscuts are mouth watering!!!

Love it!

Each annual trip to Williamsburg, I have to stop here and eat. The food is yummy and the chocolate pie a must. Great for the value. I have noticed that the amount of ham on the biscuits is getting smaller, so if you like the ham, ask for a double portion.

This place has the feel of a Colonial Williamsburg tavern for about one third of the price. The food is excellent, and the service we received was first rate. The folks there are wonderful.

More than just great food

We finally got to eat here. Be sure to note that this restaraunt is open for breakfast & lunch. We had breakfast before ending our trip. The food is very good and a good value. It is set in an old Victorian home. Besides the restaraunt, it is full of neat antiques and high end chotchkies for sale. It seems to be a favorite with locals.
