Peking Restaurant, Williamsburg

Everybody ought to go once just for the experience. In essence, there are 4 buffets and you can go to any and all. The sushi train has a conveyor belt with various single-serve sushi dishes. When you see a plate you like, lift a door (like an automat) and take it out. The Mongolian grill has selections of raw meat and vegetables and well as sauces. Fill up a bowl to your liking and hand it to the chef. Takes about two minutes to cook and return to you. There are also Chinese and Japanese buffet lines, and a line for rice and soups. Like most buffets, it is long on vegggies and short on meat, but that's life. We liked all the food.

We have been coming to the restaurant for years and thoroughly enjoy it. However we were in there last night and were very unhappy with the change of icecream. Not only is it inconvenient but very very unsanitary!!! I was so looking forward to having some icecream at the end of my meal but upon going to the icecream bar I immediately became sick to my stomach. The scoops were sitting in very cloudy water with a very small amount of water dripping in the bucket and one of the scoops were in the icecream bucket! I realize that this allows for a variety of flavors but the soft serve is just fine and MUCH more sanitary. We come in at least once a week but now I am not sure it will be as often :-(

Two years ago it was good. The last time two times we dropped in, it seemed to have gotten worse. The Mongolian Grill was not worth the time. The Chinese food was typical and can be gotten at any other buffet. The Korean BBQ used to be really good but it wasn't. The Chinese roast chicken was unappetizing. Even the sushi bar wasn't much to be desired because the seaweed had a fishy taste and the sushi rice tasted vinegary (bitter). Not sure what happened with the food preparers that day but it was awful.

Was very disappointed with this place and still wondering how it's voted the best buffet in Williamsburg. Service was good, but food was terrible. There are many other buffets that blow this one away.

So glad we tried Peking while on our vacation to Williamsburg. The owner was very nice and all the staff too! Our favorite was the honey chicken! We have been there twice this week! The Mongolian grill was wonderful. Fresh good and good service!!

I don't get the hype. This buffet has gotten much worse over the years. The quality food they once made is no longer.

Excellent place to eat and shop! Awesome environment, great mongolian grill, and wonderful service. The food is good, the only thing is that they can use maybe one more buffet rack of food, but they do have many choices already.

I've lived in williamsburg for 3 years now and this place has really been going downhill. Food looks old and i dont think it's good value for the money. If you are looking for a really good asian buffet in williamsburg, check out the new asian buffet called red city in patriot plaza. they have a lot more choice and the food there is delicious.
