Open late every night, Paul's Deli Restaurant is a child-friendly deli by day and a hip college bar by night. Whether you are choosing a sub, a pizza, a sandwich, or a beverage, there is a wide variety of each to choose from. With a 52-inch wide screen television showing sports, it's a great place to watch the big games. Or if it is late, drink your cares away with specialty shooters. College hangout
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/24/08
This is a place the William & Mary students like to frequent (having been one many years ago, I know this!). On any given weekend night you even have to stand in line to get into Paul's. Of course this is not a gourmet food place but if you're looking for the college atmosphere, it's a great. Orders are placed at the counter and then your name is called when your food is ready. The selection covers a variety of hot and cold subs, pizza, fries and similar items. For a college hangout, it's very good.

Good local hangout
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/08
This place has the casual atmosphere of a tavern. It looks like a popular spot for locals and college students. There is sports memorabilia all over the walls and the TVs were playing sports. It was very noisy. You can order by sitting down and placing an order with a sever or ordering from the deli menu where you place an order and sit down and wait for the order to be called. I had chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. The chicken was lightly breaded and fried over tender chicken breasts and the mozzarella sticks were hot and stringy. Both were appropriately greasy and delicious.

The BEST food in town!!!! Peter, one of the owners, is always great and he is a fantastic cook!!! I have never had anything there that wasn't awesome. When college is in session, it can get a little crazy on Fri and Sat night very late, but always fun! If you want a great meal, fair price, small town feel, watch a good game with cold beer and a lot of friends....here's your place.

Nothing special
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/07
There really wasn't much to set this restaurant apart from other deli and and sub shops. When I'm looking to go outside of the chain places I would like to see something special, which I didn't find here.

Typical college dive
By Chris, 12/2/05
The place can get chaotic and the food sometimes takes a long time to get ordered and to get out, but everyone who works there that I have run into is nice, and the food is great for the price.

Decent food, at a reasonable price
By Rachel, 9/24/05
It was ok, but nothing special, I probably won't go back, they are so many places to it in this city; why settle for average?

Paul's Deli is a great place to hang out...
By Shannon Kellogg, 9/18/05
The food is awesome, the service is great. They have my favorite beer (Bass) on tap. If you've never been, you should go. It is a great college pub with a small town feel.
