Wow...it was bad pizza. nothing authentic about this slice. nothing Italian about these cooks. spaghetti sauce pizza...i'm being nice here trust me. If you think that its good, i really feel bad for ya cause it means you may not have ever had real pizza!
I like to walk to the the downtown mall with my four year old and baby. We enjoy eating their pizza at a good price. The slices are huge and the taste is pretty good. I paid a little over $13 for 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of tomato and basil pizza, and 2 large drinks. The large drinks are the size of mcdonalds mediums. A large 16 inch cheese pizza it around $10, i believe. Not bad. Id recommend it to collage students or anyone going to the downtown mall on a budget or if you just enjoy good pizza. :)
I used to work right off of the Downtown Mall, and their spinach and feta pizza became a once a week treat for me. I have since moved away, and I have tried to find a comparable pizza place around here, to no avail. Oh, and my NYC dad LOVES this place. True pizza aficionados will love this place. I miss it just writing about it!
I LOVE IT!! I dont like to eat pizza all the time, and I am not a big fan of pizza hut, domiono's and papa john's! But This pizza is great. The cheese likes to slide off of it, but the kids and I always enjoy getting pizza from here. Not to expensive for the big slices you get.
Very seedy. I just got back and found out they double charged me on my debit card while I talked to a friend. The fact that an employee can do that is just wrong...that has to be trained. Very disgusted; who cares how the food tastes.
The downtown location serves some of the best food I've ever had with an awesome selection of by the slice pizza. Pantops is also pretty good. The Corner and Forest Lakes are definitely a notch lower, at least with respect to selection and the amount of toppings they give you.
Christian's is great. I would recommend pretty much anything, but if you want to try something new and different, get the spinach and feta cheese and artichoke with pesto sauce pizza. It's probably the best pizza I've ever had. After you eat it, plain pepperoni and cheese will never be the same!
I as a 14 year old have to say Christians pizza is the best pizza I ever eaten. My cousins (5-10) say its better than dominos and pizza hut put together. Definitely a place you have to go when in Charlottesville. My mom once drove their even though we live about 3 hours away form Charlottesville. I find the spicy pepper and chicken the best.
The toppings are very fresh. You can really appreciate the high quality of the fresh mozzarella and fresh basil and other vegetables. The crust is also great in texture--crispy on the outside and soft inside, not too thin not too thick. It's just to die for!!!
