Hi-Neighbor Restaurant, Strasburg

Wonderful home prepare style breakfast. The waitress was wonderful. The atmosphere of the place makes it so relaxing. A wonderful place for food and conversation. I definitely recommend this eatery

Excellent down home dining experience! A wide variety on the menu and their Sunday Brunch is very good! The staff and service are great. Location is in the heart of Strasburg and the restaurant is surrounded by many historical buildings and beautiful scenery!

I think considering the shape this restaurant was in when it was bought by the new owners...and all the effort to try to change years of not the best of service, waitresses wearing anything they wanted..who now wear uniforms...filth that was not cleaned that is now done on a daily and weekly basis..this restaurant has come a LONG way. Having been a frequent guest at their former restaurant in the old Ramada Inn in Woodstock...I know the owners and how they operate..and how their manager of the waitresses has high standards. There was much discord when the change came..as there always is. I now prefer eating at the Old Mill Restaurant which the same owners now operate..but that's just me...I would eat at either and be happy....

The food is inexpensive and plentiful. However, this place caters to locals of a certain age, who've been coming here so long that they don't see -- or don't mind -- the cigarette smoke, the dingy walls, or the boisterous laughter. If you're looking for gracious dining, check out the Hotel Strasburg. The now defunct Frankie's Restaurant across the street seemed a promising compromise between the Hi-Neighbor and the Hotel; rudeness and poor service undid them.

I think the owners must be blind or cheap they need to invest in there property it looks like the roof is leaking and the waitress /mananger is a dee dee dee .the food is great and service was good.

Not a friendly feeling place. When my family and myself walked in, you would of thought they never seen people of color before. All eyes on us....

I don't know where else you can go and feed a family of 4 for under 25 dollars...service is great and food is excellent!

For lunch, it's convenient because you can usually go and eat in about 1/2 hour.
