This is the second time we have been able to stop for dinner.
It's kind of funny... we seem to pass through the area at about the same time each trip. Fortunately, they have been open each time. The family really looks forward to stopping for dinner. We have always been seated promptly and with a very courteous staff. The food has lots of authentic flavor and the portions are just right. Once again.. we highly rate this restaurant for family Italian dining. Very comfortable and casual.
We will be back again the next time through!!!
Really good food - but extremely loud. I live in Ladysmith and would love to go here more, but the constant noise is sometimes too much. Kitchen banging, radio, TV, people having to talk very loud to be heard. Good eats, but not the place to kick back and relax. I get mine to go alot due to the noise.
We found this place on the way back from Hampton via a sign on the side of the road. It was getting late and we were already hungry.. and couldn't stand the thought of a 'chain' restaurant. The place is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and attentive. For an appetizer we ordered the garlic knots with cheese... very good. My daughter had the baked ziti and asked to have the alfredo sauce instead... no problem with the substitution. And let me tell you.. the sauce was excellent.. with tons of flavor. Of course you will need some strong mints after the garlic knots and alfredo.. but who cares.. We will make this a stop the next time we come through town.
The spaghetti, eggplant parmigiana, and all the other pasta dishes you'd expect from a good Italian eatery are here too, in a surprisingly large variety and once again in Giuseppe's signature large portions. Everything I've had in this department has met or exceeded expectations, although I confess I haven't had much of it since the menu is so large and I usually order the pizza. Chicken dishes are plentiful too, both among the pasta and subs; but I confess to never having ordered chicken here myself, since the pizza keeps up her siren's call...
Excellent restaurant...if you visit this area, live here or are just passing through you have to stop in and have a meal here....Subs, salads, chicken wings, everything taste so good. Most of all it is affordable. Service is remarkable!!!!
What a fabulous restaurant! We stopped by here on the way back from our vacation in Maine this past week. We were so surprised! We had the ribeye steak and the grilled chicken salad. Both were truly exceptional! Their wine bar enticed us to get a bottle of wine..Barolo I think it was...and we had some pre-dinner cocktails..7&7 and jack and coke. We finished our meal with their yummy tiramisu! Everything was wonderful! It was cozy..friendly..and oh so busy! We will be stopping by again when we go back home to see family. Thanks again Giuseppe!
me and my wife were in there yesterday.
to start service was awful
I had a cheesesteak, was dry and horrible,
my wife spaghetti with red sauce, the sauce was nasty and spagetti was over cooked.
I wont be going back anytime soon.
