Sammy T's, Fredericksburg

I have been eating here with my dad since I was a kid, it was always our thing to do together. Now my bff is vegan so we still go here often when I am in town. Friendly service, cool atmosphere, and yummy food!

Love the T-fresh food is always great, only drawback is the comfort of the benches...sometimes it causes us to go elsewhere, though it's still my favorite casual dining in the Burg.

Sammy T's is a required stop for us when in town. There's something for everyone and it's always good! I don't even mind the smoking section!

I love Sammy T's. I have been going here for over 20 years. If you can handle a slightly smoky room, you MUST sit in the smoking section. The atmosphere can't be beat. Local art, old booths, lovely long bar with a full mirror. And it's always dark. Just fantastic atmosphere. And the music is always great. Usually some old favorites playing or something funky and new but never too loud. Now let's get to the food. Awesome. The meat dishes, the veggie dishes, the vegan dishes. Everything I have ever had has been great. The fries are excellent and more like fries you get from a fish n chips stand in London. The food tastes fresh and they use healthy and interesting ingredients. The Mediterranean is our favorite appetizer to share. Tons of hummus, olives, feta and pita. A meal in itself. My all time favorite item is the Apple Cheddar Melt. Sourdough bread, mustard (no really, it's amazingly great), sunflower seeds, apple slices and real cheddar cheese served open face with a small mixed greens salad and usually orange slices. I love it! They always have a great, full selection of beer and a seasonal selection of beers on tap. Greatness! I never tire of going here. It is a Fredericksburg classic and a must for visitors wanting to see where the locals eat, drink, and hang.

Quite pleased. Stopped here for a light dinner with a friend, we weren't expecting a whole lot but we were in for a surprise. I had the Grilled Cheese with bacon and tomato, she had the BBQ sandwich on sourdough bread with fries. Everything tasted great, the portions were huge, neither of us could finish what we ordered. They do have a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. They have a completely separate smoking dining room. This is worth checking out for some light fare or drinks with a friend, don't think you will be disappointed.

It was a beautiful night at a table on the sidewalk, we had drinks that were priced just right for the quality and an appatizer fit for a king, the Taziki & yogurt Dip. Two people, four drinks and an app for just at $20. Can't beet that...

Had an overall bad expierence and the food is plain and average.

This is one of the few places that I know in Fredericksburg, VA that serves a vegan menu. All items in the menu tell you if they are veg friendly. Great french fries if you are into peanut oil. Awesome homemade chocolate mouse and good ambiance if you are willing to sit in their smoking section. The non-smoking section is not as nice. Only 2 tables for more than 4 to seat. Nice bar area. Not cheap.
