We look forward to the pleasure of your company.
My boyfriend took me to D.C. for my birthday, and we stayed at the Courtyard Tysons Corner Fairfax hotel. This Flemings Steakhouse was located in the building of the hotel, and we went there for dinner one night. This was the best meal I have ever had, and the best service and coffee as well! I genuinely appreciated every single bite! I got the 8 oz petite filet and it was AMAZING, especially with the sauces. My boyfriend also thoroughly enjoyed his prime rib. I did a search and am excited that there is another one in PA about 20 miles from here! This is definitely my new favorite restaurant!!!
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse had exemplary service, and a wonderful ambience. The steak was delightful and cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was really delicious, and so was the bread and butter. This steakhouse IS the best is the area. Morton's thinks they have the steakhouse thing down, until you step into a real upscale steakhouse like Flemings. Each bite of steak was juicier, and more satisfying than the next.
Food and service are always top notch. If you are there solo or with just 1-2 people the bar area is a great place to eat as well.
Service is exceptional and helpful, including tasting some new wines on the list.
The wine list is great and with nearly all wines available by the glass, you can get a variety of tastes to match each person's meal.
I have dined at this location several times and its a favorite for me. Less stuffy than Mortons, more reasonable wine list than the Palm, and friendly service.
Sorry folks, but I feel this place is overrated and DEFINITELY not comparable to Ruth's Chris or Morton's. It's over-priced and the filet I had was dry with no flavor. I advise you to take your business elsewhere.
We celebrate a lot of our special days here. The steaks are equal to Ruths Chris the sides are awesome. This year for my birthday I had a choice between Flemings and Ruths Chris and I chose Flemings because I love their Martinis, the peach is great but for a change try an Almond Martini, Flemings is the only place I want to order that as no place else has done them anywhere near as well! Not an everynight dinner place unless you have loads of money but definitely a wonderful treat!! I am a chocolate nut but here I order the creme brulee for dessert!
This is by far the best steakhouse I have ever been to! I'm so lucky to have had my work bring me to Vienna, Virginia, so I could settle 2 miles from this great eating experience! Best filet mignon ever; fabulous family style side dishes, especially the Asparagus and the Creamed Spinach; and visitors must try the Chocolate Souffle - to die for! Wonderful wine bar - great for meeting friends!
In my opinion, Flemmings is the best steak house in the area. And that is quite an accomplishment when it's located in Tysons Corner where there are many top end restaurants.
We have eaten there at least a half dozen times and it has always been a great experience. The steaks are superb and the extensive wine selection makes each visit an opportunity to try a new or different vintage. The servers are well versed in the wine list and every recommendation they have made on wine choices has been spot on.
The service is always efficient and friendly. It's not inexpensive to dine at Flemmings, but you will always get exceptional value for the price.
My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desert. I would actually rate both their food and service as superior to Mortons and on par with The Prime Rib downtown. The dining area was open and packed with a large number of guests consequently, a little louder than one might like on a romantic date but great atmosphere for a group of friends/family. Note also that the $10-20 price cited on the Yahoo website is far below what you will actually pay (this is definitely an upscale restaurant, rather than a casual family place).
