Anthony's Carryout, Ocean City

We usually eat here twice during our stay in OC but this time only once and we won't be back. The Reuben sandwich one of us ordered was soggy and unappealing. The roast beef sandwiches were average. Fries and onion rings were overly greasy.

Everyone seems to mention the roast beef that they are so famous for, but you seem to be missing breakfast. Their breakfast sandwiches are just like grandma used to make. Piled high and tastey!

Anthony's is a great place to eat, and the food is excellent. We vacation down in OC every year and make it our business to eat there a few times during the week.

I AM Italian, I grew up eating Italian sandwhiches and this place has literally the best sandwhiches on EARTH. Boars Head meats, cheeses and unbelievable hard rolls. Yeah, a $10.00 a pop, they are not cheap, but they are WORTH it! Anthony's appears to be just another place to stop by and grab some beer or wine, when in fact they have this little gem of a deli tucked away inside. As a matter of fact, we stopped just to grab a 6 pack and then on a whim ordered some sandwhiches. I am so glad we did..This is an OCMD MUST!!!!

unbelievable chicken salad hoagie...the best I have ever eaten...made fresh daily...it's to die for......can't wait to go back every summer to get one....

If you love the food that 50's and 60's drive ins and car hops served, then you'll love Anthony's Carryout..... they do have picnic tables outside, and a few booths inside so that you can eat your meal, or get it to go and take it to the beach! Anthony's claim to fame is their steamship round of beef sandwiches.... also, take in the bacon cheeseburger and fresh cut fries.... they have a full menu, so be sure to go and start sampling today, you'll be glad you did!!!!!
