We have eaten there several times over the past few years. The food is pretty good, the view of the inlet is always nice. The service is usually good. I do feel bad that the last time we went I accidentally hit the waitress in the boob with a spoon while handing her my plate.
Went there for the view and it bearly offered that. The food was overpriced i got a new york strip tht was a horrible cut of meat, was not fresh or sumthn, and my friend had the shrimp salad which had old lettuce and crappy shrimp ended up paying over 60 dollars for nothin. eve the bread was stale, and they had a bread girl that came by 20 mins after we sat and the place was dead. The atmosphere was plastic chairs an uncomfortable, we also had asked for more bread after she had never returned and never saw her again! We talked to the manager and told him our situtation and he did nothing not even a apology and he couldn't even find the bread girl supposedly she was preparing more stale bread, the manager offered nothing and went and sat down by the door.
I can't say enough great things about this place.... it reminds me of an old, rustic, eastern shore crab shack... where you know that anything and everything you order off the menu is going to be awesome. Give the Chesapeake Crab Dip for starters (to die for), or the Seafood Wedges..... for your meal, enjoy their Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, or.... go for it and order the Broiled Seafood Feast.... No matter what you order, you'll be very pleased....
You have to try on eof their coconut muffins. They will melt in your mouth! They have great steamed shrimp at happy hour and priced accordingly. The food over all is just average but it's the location that does it for this place.
The Marina Deck had good service, OUTSTANDING food ,a good view of the cove and it was such a pleasurable dining experience ( GREAT french onion soup and a superb selection of fresh-baked rolls !), we ate there 2 nights in a row....As a tourist in town on vacation, the locals proved, this popular place is a sure thing.... ~When in Rome, do as the Roman's do ~
P.S. it even had a smoking section...... lol
