The chef and staff were wonderful with my daughter's food allergies. They were willing to subsititute or change any menu item to make it safe for her. They even made us our own loaf of bread she could eat.

New menu trying to compete with Volt and Tasting Room (even an amuse buse from the kitchen). I was honestly disappointed in the new menu (very few Asian items on the menu). The bar item was more reasonably priced and had more options. The front windows are still the best to sit in and enjoy downtown.

I've eaten at Acacia twice in the last few months. Both times, the food was excellent as was the service. The first time, I had the duck and the second time the Bison. Although the bison was terrific, it was't all that different from beef so if you are looking for something more spectacular, the duck was better. Atmosphere was different both times. Quiet but not boring. Only complaint is that they really overprice their wines. If this isn't the best in Frederick, it is surely in the top 3 or 4. Only Isabella's can compete with the quality of the food in the downtown area.

Good food, reasonable prices in an upscale casual atmosphere. There's an outdoor seating area for fair weather dining. You can feel comfortable dressing casual or more upscale and not feel out of place. Even on weekends we have never have a wait of more than a few minutes for a table and the service has always been good.

Acacia has good food and ambiance but is overpriced. They do not know how to handle an overcrowded restaurant - for a high end restaurant, they should invest in some high-end service staff

Quality of food and service has gone downhill consistantly since this place has opened years ago. Great place to go if you don't care about what you eat or overpaying for average food.

Feels like home in a great way. Tiny little bar that is warm and welcoming. Window seating at the high tops is fun. Watching the world of Frederick go by is amusing and provides conversation topics! Food is as pretty on the plate as it is delicious in the tummy. Each plate should be photographed before enjoying! Perfect for the discriminating and those who appreciate edible art!

Expensive, modern American/fusion style cuisine, with a varied menu that Foodies will enjoy: Bison burger, kung pao chicken, pad thai, lobster monte cristo, rabbit, duck, crab cakes, sea bass, etc. Inviting dining room, although sometimes noisy. The bar area has a few high tops at the front windows for street view, and there is outside patio dining in the summer. Great for a special occasion.

I was in a group of twelve and we had a great time, it's so unusual for us all to agree!
