Overall, good, and I'd go there again. Crabcake was very good. The best I've had since growing up with them homemade in Baltimore. The Caesar salad portion (I got the Crabcake Caesar salad) I don't recommend. It was a bit oily and had little taste. My partner got the two crabcake dinner and a Caesar side salad, also thought the Caesar was tasteless. Again crabcakes were very good, he love the smashed potatoes, while I thought they were just good. The snowpeas (daily vegetable) were outstanding. Bread that came with the meal was light, airy, a crispy exterior, excellent. They give you olive and garlic olive oils, and red wine and balsalmic vinegar to play with the bread instead of butter. Interesting, and good, but a bit of butter with that bread would have been heavenly.
The staff was good but slightly crowding. There were very few customers (Sunday night) and I think this would not have been a problem had there been more people. They said you usually need reservations Wednesday through Saturday.
The place looks dumpish from some angles during the day, but decor from the parking lot side was very charming. Inside was also nice, but the lighting took some getting used to, a bit dim.
Prices were a little high, but reasonable for the crabcake dinner. The Caesar crabcake dinner was very light on the salad, about the same as what was received as a side salad.
