El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant, Hagerstown

Food is very good. They often mess up your order. For example I get 2 tacos one soft and one crunchy. Theyll bring 2 crunchy. But they are happy to fix the mistake. Chips and salsa are awesome. Good food for a reasonable price

I love this restaurant! I go there regularly, and I have never once had a bad experience. The cheese dip is amazing! The food is always delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

went to el rancheros a week ago services was ok after 10 mins. went by i loved going there but not anymore the fajita portions are smaller the salsa isnt as good as it use to be for me i was not very happy and i wont be going back for a while

I just want to say that there is no better restaurant in the tri state area. People love their olive garden and their red lobster...that's all just overpriced garbage for people who have more money than brains. El Ranchero is hands down the BEST restaurant around...mexican or not. There is no restaurant of any genre in this area where you can get the same consistent friendly service, food portions, quality and flavor every single time you visit. I have to say this is the only restaurant that I have been to that I have never once been disappointed in 3 years of visiting regularly. I visit there often enough that the waiters and waitresses know my order..and they never forget. I know that any good restaurant would remember a valued customer but I really feel at home when I dine there. Another good point to make is that I never really much cared for spicy mexican food but El Ranchero's cuisine has made me a mexican food lover for life. Whenever I decide where to go to eat I usually wind up eating at El Ranchero because no matter how much I debate where to go...they have the best value, quality, portions, and service than any other place. If I go to another so-called decent restaurant I usually leave disappointed because they can never live up to the standard set by El Ranchero. I will come back to this restaurant as long as they are open and I will continue to bring my friends and family to see for themselves. Thanks to all of you at El Ranchero for being the best in the area...there's nothing better!!!

I BEEN IN 25 STATES AND IN EVERY STATE I TRY DEFERENTS RESTAURANTS BUT THERE IS ONE VERY SPECIAL CALLED EL RANCHERO IN HAGERSTOWN MARYLAND THAT TOKE MY ATTENTION AND TOKE MY LOVE WITH HIM SIMPLY THE BEST IN MEXICAN FOOD I WILL NEVER GO TO A DIFFERENT RESTAURANT IN HAGERSTOWN BUT EL RANCHERO YOU SHOULD TRY THEYR FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND THE SERVICE IS FAST AND FRIENDLY

I was in town on business and went to El Ranchero. What a great experience. I can't remember the name of what I had, but it was the first chicken item. It was a chicken over a rice with white mexican cheese. One of the best mexican dishes I have ever had. The stuffed jalepenos were also outstanding, and came with a rich, dark red sauce. Service was fast and friendly. Try it, you can't go wrong.
