I love the Ott House especially since i live in Emmitsburg and i'm related to the Ott's so that makes things more fun because i know the owners and one of my friends lives upstairs in an apartment and he eats at the Ott House all the time and jams out to the music downstairs, Simply put if you're in Emmitsburg and you're hungery then eat at the Ott House! They have exellent food,service, and a great atmosphere too!

If you ever find yourself near Gettysburg, Frederick, Waynesboro, or Westminster, you should take a thirty-minute ride for the BEST family valued restaurant around. At thirty-five, I have never found a place quite like it ~ patron since 1974 ~ great food, friendly atmosphere, at amazing dollar value.

Great dinners. Highly recommend the Del-Monico steak. Great atmosphere as well. Price is great, but the service can be a little slow at times. Worth the price of admission.

Something different every weekend!

This is the best bar/restaurant I have ever patronized. Every weekend a different live band plays. Every weekend there is a different crowd due to the National Fire Academy being around the corner. And there is a different dinner special every weekend as well. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and very caring! One evening my friend and I had too much to drink and some guys wanted to take us home. The staff and owners told us we didn't have to go with them and to stay in the restaurant even though it was closing time. I've never been anywhere where the staff have been that concerned for patrons they didn't even know. Thank you Ott House!
