What in the world is solutions2180 talking about? You can't smoke in the restaurant...and the food is delicious...best steak in town! I'm sure solutions2180 loves McDonalds.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. If you want bad food in a smokey bar atmosphere with rude staff including the owner eat here. Food is overpriced and once again, just awful.

Fabulous dinner! What a hidden treasure of good food right under our noses! We've driven by countless times and just went on the recommendation of a friend. My NY Strip was cooked to perfection with the best flavor of any I've had in Frederick. My finace` ordered Lobster tail with crab imperial which was out of this world! Even the dinner salads were a nice surprise of baby mixed greens with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, red cabbage and more--delish! The atmosphere is family dining casual (jeans/sweater) and the friendly waitstaff are very welcoming and attentive but not overbearing. The dining room isn't fancy but it doesn't have to be b/c the food is where Callahans shows off! Very reasonably priced for excellent food, generous portions, great service and no long wait with a quick phone call ahead on a Friday night. We're hookded!

I'm surprised that two of the reviews are so negative. THis is a non-pretentious restaurant that serves simple good food. Nothing fancy, but it is all predictably good. Fish sandwiches are great at lunch. Beer and pegs are great after dinner.

My server was friendly; the host (may have been owner) was not. Broiled platter clams burned, fish and shrimp broiled dry, potato half baked.
