Bellisario's Pizza, Frederick

Calzones are best in Frederick! My daughter and I go and while we wait for our food play "I Spy". Friendly people! Even though it really is... Redskins country ;o)

My family(wife and 4 kids) loves their Pizza. I especially love their dough. We have been eating their Pizza since they came to Frederick.

Good pizza. Really good regular pizza. Really, really, really good pizza. Bellisario's makes pizza that tastes as close as we come to good New York City style pizza here in Frederick. Don't go there expecting a New York atmosphere, though. The owner is a rabid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and the store looks like a shrine to all things Steelers.

Not many places make an Italian Hoagie as good as my mom's... but Bellisario's comes awful close! We don't go too often, because it is not really a place I can go with my really little ones. But when I can, I duck in for a sub and some yummy french fries - you definitely need to try it for a quick lunch!

My family loves this place. I have three teenagers and this is definitely our favorite family hang out. The menu is great, they have plenty of choices in yummy Italian favorites, and the pizza and subs are the best around! Its a family owned and operated business, so everyone is warm and friendly there. The inside of the restaurant is decorated floor-to-ceiling with family photos and Pittsburgh Steelers memoribilia. There's a tv in the corner, always showing the current football game or highlights. The service is fast, the prices are awesome, you'll love it. One thing to remember, they do not take credit cards, so bring your cash. Its well worth it!
