Casa Mias Restaurant
In 1986, Casa Miaac2s opened as a small carryout and liquor store serving overstuffed subs and sandwiches, pizza, pasta and seafood to the Perry Hall - White Marsh area. Shortly thereafter, we added delivery service to both homes and businesses. In 1989, we expanded our carryout by adding a small seating area, and larger liquor store, offering finer wines, microbrew beer and additional liquors. The community was growing rapidly for many years, and so was our business. Once again, we found the need to enlarge our seating, allowing our customers to be seated without a wait. Therefore, in 1995 we expanded, adding more seats and also obtaining a new liquor license allowing us to serve alcoholic beverages for both carryout and dine in.
The menu is large and diverse, but I've lived close by for most of my life and what we really go there for is pizza and subs. This is the only place nearby to get a proper cheesesteak, and the pizza has an excellent crisp crust and generous toppings.
I've been going to Casa Mia's for many years and feel that the food is better than most all carryouts. They have a very diverse menu not usually found in a carryout.I guess this why this place is always busy.
We love Casa Mia's. When our business orders out their menu offers more of a variety. When I dine in I like the new decor. The people who work there are hard workers. But the food is really very, very good. I am sure with all restaurants sometimes they get the order wrong, but I would rather eat at Casa's than eat at the Mall. And they are the only place in town that knows how to make a great cheese steak sub.
I have lived within walking distance to Casa Mias for a little under a year. The food is often cold by the time it makes it the 1/00th of a mile to my apartment, and the people are snobby beyond belief. Most recently after getting seafood dish my girlfriend spent her weekend with her head in the toilet from receiving very bad crab meat. I won't feed my dog this stuff anymore.
We have ordered from Casa Mia's three times in the last month...Hoping they would get it right. Every time our order was incorrect. The last incident the manager promised to send our actual order right away and refund our money. When the driver arrived, an hour later, he had no idea about a refund. Too much hassle for so-so food! Never again!
We get take out from Casa Mias at least one a week. The subs, salads, and pastas are our favorites. The pesto pizza is very good too. Service can be a bit slow (seems to be disorganized behind the counter) and beer/wine is a bit pricey, but food is top notch.
