Asahi Sushi

Description

A Hello-Kitty sake figurine greets patrons in the dining room, which is dominated by a long sushi bar. The atmosphere is cozy, the food delicious. Salmon Terriyaki, several Katsu dishes and a wide selection of creative sushi rolls are available. Try the Asashi Special, filled with deep-fried shrimp, crab and avacado, or the Fells Point roll. It's filled with eel and avocado wrapped in fresh tuna. If you prefer your food cooked, try the tonkatsu , a breaded pork chop served with rice and covered in a savory sauce.

Good variety of sushi rolls, everything we tried tasted great and it was reasonably priced! I will definitely keep this place in mind next time I'm in the mood for sushi.

Sushi is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is not a great one. A very small restaurant, but worth to stop in.

This is my favorite sushi place in Baltimore. Anyone who likes sushi should give it a try. The sushi is very consistent because the chef/owner JC is always behind the counter making the sushi. Try the garden salad with ginger dressing and the Maryland crab roll........to die for!!!!

excellent
By LA NGỌC DUY [ 1 ], 11/15/06
i'm a big fan of sushi and asahi sushi didn't let me down. my main concern is presentation, taste, and freshness. i had the unagi and it was one of the best i've ever tasted. the miso suit was just okay. i've had better. the waitstaff was friendly but seemed to be disorganized. the price is average, not too expensive and i left feeling full for under $20. so, like i said, its worth a try

The best!
By Keith W, 11/3/06
I have been to every sushi bar in Baltimore and this is my favorite. The rolls are great, the price is the best in town, and it is bring your own bottle. The waiters are all family of the owner, and although the restaurant is small it has a good feel to it.

Possibly the best Sushi in Fells Point !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/3/05
Possibly the best sushi in Fell's Point. I stop here every single time I'm in the area. The sushi is fresh and delightful, and they have a very wide variety. Prices are very reasonable. Whether you are taking it home or eating it in, it's a must if you are a hungry Sushi fan in Fell's Point.
