Rusty Scupper - Baltimore, Baltimore

After spending several days in NYC and DC we decided to spend the day at the inner harbor. After a wonderful day we ate at the Rusty Scupper hoping to finish our short vacation with a nice meal. It was anything but nice. The most expensive meal of the trip and the worst. The crab cakes tasteless, the coconut shimp overcooked to the point of being scorched, the fish and chips,suppose to be cod was some kind of tasteless grey fish with entirely too much breading (the fries and coleslaw were good), the children's meals were not only unbalanced but overcooked and substandard (McDonalds would have been better) The view was very nice, the restaurant clean and the service OK, but I would not send my worst enemy there.

First of all, the view from just about any table in this restaurant is spectacular-if you are into water view restaurants, this is the place to go. However, their food is VERY good-I was not expecting a whole lot, but their Sunday buffet, with all different kinds of fresh seafood-really fresh, their whitefish-the best I've had, homemade macaroni and cheese, excellent salmon, excellent fresh salads, everything I had was good, and I am quite discriminating when it comes to food. And then there was the dessert table! Homemade bowls of fresh whipped cream-THIS is how you tell this restaurant cares about good food-oh, the pecan pie, the cakes, they were all made by a very good baker-I can go on and on, service excellent-just let me say, I will and have gone back for their wonderful Sunday brunch-the price to value ratio here at Rusty Scupper is of the highest standard-go, you won't be disappointed!

We ate at this restaurant in September while on vacation. The food was wonderful, our waitress was outstanding and the view could not be beat! Would love to live close enough to go back often.

The Rusty Scupper (Seafood Restaurant in Baltimore, MD) is not worth your time. Tthe food and service where horrid from the over cooked (cremated) food to the rude waiter who came by and asked us if we wanted dessert in the middle of dinner.

Went for the first time for mom's birthday. Terrific view, nice music, different atmosphere. Expensive but recommended. Will come again!

The best place in the Inner Harbor. A lot has been change in Baltimore, since the last time i was here. But just like everything else in this city, dining has been completely revamped – with overwhelmingly positive results. We really liked Rusty Scupper. The service was excellent from start to finsih. The wine selection was very good and most importantly, the calamari was delicious. All in all, a perfect evening at Rusty Scupper. The management,specially this guy with accent,was very helpfull getting us a free ride. Yes, their free shuttle took us back to the hotel after our romantic diner. I will be back Scupper.

This is where my family and I decided to spend Thanksgiving dinner. It was fabulous. The staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was festive and the food was absolutely divine!!

Do not pay with credit card at this establishment... they added a $35.00 tip. When management was told they agreed to send refund and never did. They also gave away our reserved table for 8 to someone who gave them a tip. The food was awful and the waiter spilled a drink all over one of our guests. The location is all that this restaurant has to offer but there is NO ambiance. All of our guests were very disappointed that we had chosen this place. We had come a long way to vacation and did not appreciate the bad business practices of this sham. We have never seen such poor taste for such a large unwarranted price. Save your money!
