Ikaros Restaurant, Baltimore

We've been dining at Ikaros over the past 35 years, since my first trip to Greece. Though thankfully the place has expanded over the years, it's quality remains. This restaurant has consistently provided delicious, authentic Greek food and hospitality every visit. Every friend and family member we've talked to agrees. We always enjoy the fried calamari, and use it as the stantard by which all others are measured. Though occasionally another restaurant may approach this tasty dish, none have ever surpassed it. The roast leg of lamb with roasted potatoes and green beans melts in your mouth. The greek salads are perfect and the mousaka and pastitsio are also wonderful Greek dishes. Friends have also enjoyed steaks and crab cakes when their tastes are for the basic or familiar, and are happy to repeat our visits for these delicious meals as well. All this, and at very reasonable prices. Enjoy!
