City Lights Restaurant, Baltimore

I went here after being tired of waiting 3 hours for the cheesecake factory, This was just the place to relax and unwind and not deal with packed lobbies.. great seafood and pretty good prices..

I would come back again & again. The food was nice but if you take a date make sure your credit card or your pay check.

After reading the reviews on this website, I decided to take my parents to City Lights for their anniversary. I can not believe how bad the food was. I am from Boston and know seafood. I had the Fisherman's Platter for $23.99. The crab cake was ok, tasted as good as the crab cakes at Orioles Park. The shrimp, scallops, and tune tasted prefrozen and had no taste. It was served with rice pilaf which was really only white rice. I can't remember the last time I had such a bad meal. If you want seafood eat at M&S Grill across from City Lights or Legal Seafood. The prices are the same and the seafood is much better. Anyone who thinks this place is good does not know seafood. Stay away!

I had the crab cakes, they weren't bad but I have had better in Pittsburgh if that tells you anything. The prices weren't too bad so overall not a bad place to eat.

Our experience was great when we ate at the restaurant for the first time last week. We both had the flounder stuffed with crab meat and it was mouth-watering. Also at 9:00 the jazz band arrived and we listened to them and ate. I would definitely recommend everyone to go there and sit down and enjoy good food and music.

We recently spent four days in Baltimore and were so impressed with the cooking and service that we had dinner there three nights in a row. The first night we had seafood marinara over fettucine noodles, the second night was shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat with white wine sauce over fettucine noodles, and the third night was steak and cake, an eight ounce new york strip steak with a crabcake. The waiters and management staff were very friendly and professional, which added to our short, but pleasant vacation. The booklet we obtained from the visitors center contained coupons which offered half off a second dinner, which was an added bonus.
