James Joyce Irish Pub and Restaurant
The James Joyce management and staff would like to introduce and welcome you to "Baltimore"s Home of Irish Hospitality".The James Joyce is a traditional Irish Pub and Restaurant, which was designed and built in Ireland.Once inside the restaurant, you will be transported across miles of ocean, to a charming and inviting family setting. Whether you are pulling up a bar stool and engaging in conversation with your co-workers; or pulling up a chair at a happy family gathering and being warmed by the fire, we have whatever is needed to make your dining experience a special one.
I've been eating there since they opened. Its a nice place to to eat. the bartenders and staff are very polite and make it a habit to get to know who there customer is. It's been a month since i've last been there but I bet if I were to go tonight they would still know who I am and my fav dish. my only dislike is they have tv's with no sound. I like to watch a good football game but I cant enjoy a game if I cant here it. Thats just me. if you dont care about the sound then this is the place for you.
The ambiance and atmosphere is great, the food wonderful, what more could you want? Oh yeah, the whiskey selection very, very good too! The service was friendly and they played Gaelic Football on the TV which was very interesting to watch. It really does feel like a bit of Ireland when your in this Pub!
James Joyce is absolutely fantastic from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. The pub/restaurant is straight out of Ireland. As someone who has been to Ireland on many occasions, James Joyce is as close as it gets. The food is delicious from the steak and potatoes to the fish and chips. I have never had a bad meal there. The drinks are fantastic too. Perfect restaurant for a family dinner or just drinking with a couple friends. You will absolutely love this place. Sit on the patio during the summer and you really come to appreciate the beautiful city of Baltimore. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
They have the most tender corned beef sliced thick in Baltimore. We ate outside, and the crab chowder has a sweet taste that will not forgive your craving. This is an Irish Pub that promises to please. I went to this place for lunch for a sandwich daily with a friend. Never a meal that was not worth the money spent.
