Plum Crazy Diner, Westminster

Time for a new fry cook. My turkey was great, my son's chicken tenders were good too. The wife's grilled chicken was overcooked and chewy. When she complained, the waiter offered to give her something else off the menu. She opted for the Maryland crab cake, which came to our table looking like a hard shell brownie. It tasted sour and overcooked too. The waiter earned his tip, he tried hard to make things right. But the cook was out for what, revenge? He got it. My wife's dinner was burnt. The parking lot is mostly full, most of the time, so why should we go back? They will not miss us (nor you). There are plenty of restaurants in Westminster. You don't need to go to this one. A hint to the chef: if someone complains their entree is overcooked, don't burn the replacement in revenge. Your deed might wind up on the Internet.

Decent diner-style food with a menu with enough variety for everyone in our family. Some dishes are better than others; we like the breakfast and sandwich side of the menu. They are one of my favorite places anywhere for a club sandwich or BLT. It usually costs about $40 to feed the four of us, including meals, drinks, and one appetizer. The tip would be on top of that. Cute decor, with records on the walls and staff sports trophies. The service is good and efficient, and the staff are friendly. I recommend not sitting in the area right in front of the kitchen, as it gets very noisy with fans running, staff talking, and dishes being dropped into the heating rack. They have 4 booths in that area, as well as a counter with stools. Lately they keep seating us in the noisy area - I think other people don't like sitting back there and refuse the seating in that area. We don't like sitting there, either. The booth and table area that runs along the front aisle of the restaurant is much nicer.
