While the decor has not kept up with the times, the food and service continues to make this restaurant a treasure. If you seek authentic Spanish food, this restaurant will not disappoint.
Very disappointing meal, rushed service and very cramped quarters. Food was acceptable, but not good value for what we got. With so many other choices of good restaurants in Baltimore, why take a chance here.
This once venerable baltimore icon seems to have lost its edge. The never miss special occasion restaurant may appear crowded but the cavernous empty rooms are easy to conceal.
The food and the decor are excellent, however, we couldn't help but feel like feet shoe-horned into a very tight shoe. There certainly is the vibe of "we are trying to maximize every square inch of usable space" at Tio Pepes...especially on a weekend night.
