"One of the best Italian restaurants in America" / "The wine list at Aldo's is exemplary, easily one of the best on the east coast" / "This is clearly a labor of familial love, and it shows in every dish" -- John Mariani (of Esquire Magazine), 2012 Aldo's is Baltimore's most celebrated Italian restaurant. Aldo's features Chef/Owner Aldo Vitale's delicately balanced southern-influenced regional Italian cuisine, served in sumptuously appointed rooms steeped in classical Italian tradition. Private dining rooms include a belowground, climate-controlled Wine Cellar and a Medici-inspired Library. Very good Northern Italian cuisine with a great atmosphere, but it is pricey so don't be shock. A good place to impress a date. Parking is quite difficult. All and all, you could find a more reasonable place to go with the same quality food.
If you are looking for Italian Food in Baltimore, this is the place to go. Food is off the chart, service is unbelievable, the wine list (wow) all I can say about that! The Owners make you feel like part of the family, everybody is treated like royalty!! I cant say any more, you have to go and see for yourself. Nobody will leave dissapointed!
its very cozy and quaint... very close to harbor but it doesnt feel like it... though the service and ambiance is outstanding the food is off the charts try out the panini i think its the best in maryland it reminds me of one you would eat in italy itself
