My wife and I have eaten here many times. In our option it is one of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at and we've eaten at many. Great atmosphere, wonderful food, attentive wait staff and a good value. Make sure you sign up on their email list; they have special functions from time to time and they are always nice . Oh yeah make a reservation, they are always busy.
So i went here this past friday night for dinner. after reading all the reviews i was planning on having my birthday dinner here but i wanted to try it out first. over all i say this place was very delicious, tasty. the thing that totally made me dislike it is the price for the amount they served you. it was very little. my husband and i both go the prix fixe menu. strted off with vegetable egg rolls and a shrimp salad. they basically gave me 2 thin egg rolls cut in half. the shrimp salad was good with 4 pieces of shrimp and a couple green leaves. then for an entree he got the sirloin stak and i got the pork chops. he was very dissapointed. he got about 5 pieces of sliced steak. he said it was about 5 oz of steak total. my pork chop portion was more than his but only served me with 3 thin brocolli pieces. finally for dessert he got a lime cake(forgot the name) and i got the soufle'. they were both very delicious! all in all i can say that i enjoyed the more more than my husband. they even forgot to give him his refill during our entree' then brought it during his dessert. again the food was very good tasting but the amount served was very little. the service was good. not great. i guess i just had higher expectations for the place since im from hawaii and was looking for something close to hawaii. it would be a favorite restaurant if they gave more. we loooove food!
Phenomenal! The Kobe beef and crab sushi, outstanding. Salmon and butterfish succulent. Cocktails made to perfection, just the right concoction, pleasant without too much sweetness or liquor after taste. Attentive staff. Revervation req'd. 2 patrons, 4 cocktails, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 dessert (oh-so-choc souffle), tip and valet - $170.
