Great for 1st timers to Steamed Crabs! We took out of town guests. they loved eating MD crabs for the 1st time. we ordered salad(great price!), shrimp, buffallo wings and crabs! everything tasted FRESH and was properly cooked! Service was EXCELLENT! All servers were very accomidating! DELECIOUS! LOVED IT!
I was staying in the Marriott Inner Harbor Hotel and one of the concierge, Mr. Jean suggested I go to Mos Crab and Pasta Factory. They offered a free shuttle service which was very convient for my family and I. I ordered Maryland Blue Crabs and my wife ordered Jumbo Lump crab cakes. Our friends ordered the Tail Imperial which is a stuff lobster tail with shrimp, scallops, and crab imperial. We also ordered the Angel hair shrimp to share which was very delightful. We were very pleased. The service was excellent. Kathy was very helpful and very friendly. Everything was excellent and I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.
I visited Mo's at the Harbor on 11/28/07 while visiting from Atlanta. The overall appearance is very shabby and run down. If not for the fact that I really wanted blue crabs, we would have never stayed. The waitress was nice until we had a problem with our order. I paid $25 for 6 crabs and the worst fried shrimp ever. We asked for wine and when I sent it back for a bad taste the waitress immediately showed her true colors! The manager never came to the table and even after the waitress carried on about my asking her to remove wine from the bill that we never drank. There were even ladies at the next table asking for a manager because the food was not good. I will NEVER go to this filthy, foul, nasty place again. Please beware!!
I have been eating at restaurants for over 20 years and have previously eaten here on special occasions but have never been treated so badly as I was today by our waiter. He embarrassed me in front of the entire restaurant by loudly arguing with me. I had to ask him to please leave our table because it bordered the level of harassment. His manager took over our table as server.
And, as a previous reviewer wrote, it's adding insult to injury that a 17% gratuity is automatically added to the check. M party consisted of only 2 people. Unfortunately, I was too upset to notice the added gratuity to argue this be removed from my bill before I left the place.
I will NEVER, EVER, EVER eat there again!!
I am a Baltimorean and disappointed in the fact that they represent the city as a well known seafood establishment. I recently visited the Eastpoint location. I was swiping flies and bugs all evening. My crab cakes were cold and my baked potato was full of salty. Overall, it was a bad experience.
This was the best meal I've have in ages. The food was superb. I have lobster tail topped with shrimp, crab and scallops in a cream sauce. It all but melted in my mouth. Perfect to the taste. The cream crab soup was also very good. The service was excellent. All staff members were very pleasant and friendly but professional. I highly recommend and will be going back myself. To top it off, They will send a van to pick you up and return you to any hotel. Can't ask for better service.
We heard about the world famous Mo's as we ventured on our honeymoon up the coast. Being that we are from New England, we thought this would be a good taste test for the great Pacific Northwest.
But what happened was astounding. This seafood did not even compare to seafood we had in Cleveland, Ohio.
I order the fried clams. It had to be the worst meal I've had in years. It is almost worth it to go and order them for a good laugh or to just tell people where you had the worst seafood in your life.
The clams were the size of my pinky nail and that was just the big ones. Most of the meal was batter...very, very disgusting to say the least. In fact the scallops were just as bad..infact we actually had a good laugh at the whole thing.
The clam chowder was like potatoe chowder. Nasty. But it is world famous they say, so perhaps you need to try it.
So if you need a good laugh and not good food, go to Mo's. You won't see us there. We'll be at Mo's Tavern from the Simpson's, I'm sure they have better food there.
