If money is no object, Rocco's Capriccio is a terrific place to dine. The intimate dining room is decorated with old-school formality, and the tuxedoed wait staff is efficient and professional. Your waiter will happily tell you about the chef's long and ever-changing list of excellent specials. In a city full of great seafood entrees, the swordfish served here simply can't be beat. All the usual Italian dishes are here as well, from Chicken Alfredo to Shrimp Scampi, and the wine list is superb.
I went to Rocco's with a very large group of ladies, and Rocco's was clearly not as prepared as they should have been. The staff was at best standoffish, and downright hostile when it came to tracking down their van to take us back downtown.
I agree with the Annapolis traveler, I'm a little hesitant to admit how good it is because I don't want it to get too famous. But Rocco's is among the best restaurants in Baltimore. Many Little Italy restaurants have slipped although they're still decent they hover in the B / B+ range. Rocco's has amazing food, a wonderful atmosphere, and is un-famous enough that I can always get a table. If you like well-prepared Italian food with a little variety and a good drink selection, look no further.
The service here was outstanding! Everyone was great , but our waiter Isack was one of a kind. He was enthusiastic, helpful, funny, charming and knowledgeable. He made a meal a delight, in addition to the quality of the food! We can't wait to return.
Dined at Rocco's this past weekend. My first visit. I have been to all of them in Little Italy. Rocco's by far the best! Forget about the rest of them. I had the mushroom ravioli to start. AMAZING! Then chef Rocco was cookin table side in the dining room! He gave everyone a pasta tasting! I recommend everyone from near to far to dine there!
Has quick;y become our favorite haunt in Baltimore!

We used to frequent Rocco's competitor. A good friend raved about Rocco's. We tried it and now make a minimum of a monthly trek to the city. If you like good Italian food and a friendly environment; then you will love Rocco's!
We visited Baltimore to search for a location to host a special occasion and found Rocco's.
From the minute we entered the restaurant we were treated like family. They are warm and hospitable. We returned for dinner and Rocco exceeded our expectations. We ordered 4 different entrees and each was prepared with the skill of a master chef and with love. We also enjoyed 2 exceptional italian wines with dinner.
Absolutly the best we have tasted in a long time. If you're looking for Italian, don't miss Rocco's!
ps: Rocco got the booking for 55 for our dinner banquet.
I live in Little Italy and I must say that I have yet to come across an Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian food. As an Italian who knows the difference I am shocked at the poor quality of the food in all of the restaurants in Little Italy. Roccos is no different. The food is terrible and the atmosphere also leaves alot to be desired. I can't believe thatany chef could serve up such food and call it Italian, I guess most people do not know the difference.
