Bluestone, Timonium

Average restauant, nothing special about this place. Food had no taste what so ever. Average service also. For the money I spent, I would go to Ruth C. next time.

I have been to Bluestone three times for lunch and I am still not sure what the fuss is about. The food is mediocre at best. The service is competent and the ambiance is very nice. I just wish the food was yummier. I got their crabcake club sandwich once and it was not very good. The bread seemed stale and the ingredients were bland. I also had the crabcake sandwich another time. The cake was good but not great. The inside of the cake was not warm and had a raw consistency, which was unappetizing. I had the Cobb salad on a separate occasion and it was average and forgettable.

Ate here Christmas Eve for the first time. The service was fantastic, the food; amazing. The Fried Green Tomato with Lump Crab appetizer was such a wonderful surprise! I cannot wait to go again. I don't live in the area, but I will look for more reasons to visit, just so I can go to Bluestone!

We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at Bluestone. It was wonderful! The food was delicious. The service was impecable. The staff was very helpful, kind and professional. I planned this without ever eating at Bluestone. (However, I did walk through once before the event when comparing restaurant facilities) I live 100 miles away. But everything was as promised through our phone conversations. Their specialty is seafood but everyone enjoyed their meals, even those who don't like seafood. We had our own room for the event. I would recommend Bluestone without hesitation. My son and daughter-in-law have returned several times and look forward to their next visit.

We just had a lunch for 10 at the Bluestone - and it was fabulous... we are addicted to the Bluestone House Salad... and the fish is very very fresh - every day.... don't miss two for one wine night on Wednesdays... very nice casual upscale, nice bar, great restaurant.
