G & M Restaurant & Lounge, Linthicum

G&M doesn't have to worry about compettion because there aren't any. The crab cakes are sight to see and taste. The atmosphere cannot be matched in any restaurant that I've been in lately.Service was tremendous. I will recommend that on or before the holidays give them a look see and judge for yourself.

My boyfriend and I went there for a romantic dinner. Big mistake...The tables were extremely small and it was so congested and cluttered in there, you could taste the person's food next to you. And as far as the food...it only added to the disappointment. The filet mignon was horrible and tough, the crabcakes...terrible and that mustard sauce they use is nasty. I can't believe all the great things I heard about that restaurant. Needs to be inspected.

I went to G&M because all my friends rave about it. I was told to get the crabcakes. My first bite was a piece wet eggsoaked bread. I thought I would vomit. That was the worst crabcake I have ever had. The waitress was slow and her appearance could have been better. Over all I think people think that because the crabcake is big they are getting a good deal but I can eat all the bread I want at home..

WOW! I had heard and read lot about this place and it was worth it! The crab cakes are the size of softballs. 100% pure crab meat. Soft, buttery crab meat with just a little crunch on the outside that makes it absolutely delicious! I got the carry-out 2 crab cake platter...trust me, the 2 cakes are MORE than enough. If you are anywhere near the restaurant, make the trip to G and M Restaurant! You won't be disappointed!

Haven't been there for years. The crab cakes, which they were being touted for, were mostly filler, I couldn't find any crab. The service was mediocre and to top that, (possibly why I have such a bad remembrance of this restaurant) I went to an Orioles game in 105 degree heat, which they lost. Never went again.

No one else has better. Dont' really like the atmosphere. We usually get crab cakes to go by calling ahead.

12/18/2010 1 Check-in Here I have been steered many times to this place by several people that have highly recommend it as one of the best places for crabs cakes. Well, I have finally arrived to crab cake heaven. Contrary to how busy this place gets, the sevice is friendly and fast. I had the crab cake sandwich and it was plenty for me. the crab cake is filled with abundantly delicious crab meat to satisfy your crab meat cravings. The portions are huge, enough to really fill up even the hungriest of hungers. I must say I have had plenty of crabs in Baltimore and I have never been as satisfied with flavor as this place. If you are looking for the best crab cake in town this is the place to go.

I don't think the food is good at all although the crab cakes are excellent.I live in the area and know people that have worked there and the place is filthy so it did not suprise me to hear an insect was found in the food. Service is poor and a lot of the people are rude there. I also don't like gratuities automatically being added to your bill unless you have a large party and I think that is why they treat you rudely-because they will still get their tip. I recommend going right across the street to Olive Grove for the SAME Crab cakes, better food, clean environment and friendly atmosphere.

This place has the best crabcakes hands down. I drove 32 miles to get there, so you know its good..
