This was hands down the worst service I ever received. We waited 10 minutes before someone, not our server, came up to us and asked if we had been helped. We had not. The 1st person who came to our table took our order. When I asked him if the Jazzy Wings had sauce he said sometimes yes, sometimes no. It s not really consistent and it depends who is in the back. Wow!!! Who trained this guy? That should have been our clue to leave. They brought out the wings for our appetizer, but forgot the crab raviolis that my boyfriend ordered. When our food finally arrived it was incorrect and they had forgot to bring out my boyfriend s side salad. They brought us 3 meals for 2 people. Instead of bringing him a side salad, they brought him a full dinner salad with steak? The steak on my salad was done medium rare to rare and not medium. When I asked to finally speak to the manager, and we returned our food she did not apologize. She then made us pay for the appetizers and beer we had ordered. I waited tables for several years and have been in the customer service industry for 15 yrs. When faced with a situation like this, not only was I apologetic but I DID NOT make them pay for their meal. The rule of thumb goes - if you have a bad experience as a consumer you will tell at least 10 people about your bad experience. I have already told 12!!!
The service is terrible even though they have lots of people and our food was brought on plates with past diners meals under them. The food itself is marginal. I think fast food is better than this place and I dislike fast food.
The restaurant lighting was a little to low for the atmosphere. I took my three sisters to dinner here, and we enjoyed the food and the pricing was within my budget, very reasonable pricing for the amount of food. Service was excellent, even with a busy waiting staff. Loved the soups. Salmon was delicious.
Awful! Our waitress had half of the restaurant and there were a ton of other servers just milling around the restaurant who were not waiting on tables. It took 2 hours to get to the check! We had ordered dessert but cancelled it after waiting forever again. The manager didn't even come over to apologize but we saw him void it off our check. He did not come around to the tables and gave people an estimated 30 minute wait when there were only 2 other parties waiting to be seated. In my opinion totally incompetent- cutting servers when the restaurant was full and running around worrying about people rolling silverware instead of making sure guests were getting their food. The food was pretty good but nothing special. Mine did not look like the picture, at all. It was supposed to have crab claws in it (the picture had juicy looking crab meat in claw shape stacked between eggplant slices) but when I got mine there were crab claw SHELLS hidden between my soggy eggplant slices. The flavor was decent but I don't think that's enough to convince me to return.
The food is OK. The service staff is generally confused. They have multiple people waiting the same tables without communication between them at times. We've been three times and probably have taken it off our list.
I took my boyfriend for his birthday and we had a great time. The service was excellent and the FOOD!!!!! of my gosh, was to die for. He had the fried seafood platter which was so much MORE than he could eat... he ate some that night then took some to lunch the next day and shared it with his friend and they were both full!!! I had the Shrimp Scampi and it was excellent!!!! COPELAND'S ROCKS!!!!
I've eaten at Copelands in Columbia and in Annapolis, they both are fabulous. The New Orleans cuisine is one that cannot be beat! The atmosphere is wonderful as well. Top recommendation for good food and reasonable pricing
