Enotria" is a Greek word for "Land of Wine".In early Greek civilization, the southern peninsula of what is now known as Italy was called "Enotria", named for its excellent geographic location for grape growing. We offer several different house wines and a larger selection on International vintages. We will be happy to suggest a wine that will enhance your dining experience. We hope that your time at Enotria is pleasant and memorable.
Loved the food. It was great! The food was very very good. They had traditional Thanksgiving Day food, and Italian food. We had the best waitress ever. She was so cute, tiny, and friendly. The owner was so wonderful. He walked around and spoke with his customers to make sure they were enjoying the dinner. Loved this place. I would recommend it to all! I will go again and again.
Previously good food and service but last experience was very unpleasant. When I complained to manager I was brushed off. When I said I did not think I would return I was told that plenty of others would and they did not need my business. Do not spend your money here.
We had tried the lunch buffet last Sunday and the food was over salted as though their intention is to limit the amount of food the customers will eat. The food doesn't taste fresh. I was real hungry and one of the dishes looked like a dish I would like to continue eating, dish after dish, however the amount of salt gave me a stomach ache to where I couldn't eat anymore. The velvet cake slices they would put out on another table was beyond days old because once you bite into a piece, halfway through the cake you can feel that the lower you get the harder and dry the cake gets as though its been sitting out for some time. There were hardly any customers during lunch time when in fact if the place is great, there should be a busy service during lunch weekends. However, I did notice that towards 5 oclock, yes a friend and I stayed from 1 to 5 just chit chatting...we notice a lot more people showing up during that time...from that I would not mind trying their food during dinner. I'm rating this experience as awful. I will write another review once I try their dinner.
I just got on to write a great review about my Valentine's Day experience and saw the negative post that recently was added. I feel that some people just want to be as negative as possible. I had a great time Valentine's day and was charmed by the owners accent when we had the pleasure of speaking with him. The food was simple and tastey, just what we love!
I would tell this guy to take his attitude and business somewhere else too. I was here for a big party once and we had a great time. They do not charge for a private room! I think this restaurant is a great addition to Forest Hill. Dont let hearing about one bad experience stop you!
If you like to be seated, then moved to another room and have the folks in your party(25) served in shifts and when you ask for the manager and Barney Fife comes out and cant make a decision...... this is the place for you. When talking to the ...owner and his answer was in anything but English, if you don't like it take your business elsewhere!!!!!! Not a problem, guess he won't be open much longer. Very big disappointment for the town of Forest Hill, Md that has so many more places to eat of better quality and price. Service was horrible for a party that large.
We have literally lived right around the corner for seven years and everybody loves this place. It has a warm relaxing atmosphere whether you're in the bar, on a date or with the entire family. The menu is large, the food great, the portions generous and the prices reasonable. We love the creamy romano dressing and the calamari. The carbonara is a rare, if somewhat rich, treat you don't often find elsewhere.
NJ Rocks, once or twice I've gotten a marginal waitress (usually one of the old timers) and it can definitely detract from the experience. But typically the staff is friendly, prompt and accommodating.
This was our first time to Enotria and we probably won't go back. I thought we were in for a treat when we arrived on a busy Saturday night and got a table immediately, but I was wrong.
Our waitress never offered the option of having olive oil with our bread (we heard her offer it to all of the surrounding tables) and she didn't tell us the specials (which she offered to the surrounding tables as well). Then after we told her our order, she says she'll put it in right away because the kitchen is super slow tonight. That's a great sign!!
My wife got a salad with balsamic dressing and she it tasted horrible. She tends to over-react so I tasted it and I almost spit it out. It tasted like old socks! Disgusting.
Did I mention that our table was next to a wall that had the kitchen on the other side? They made so much noise that our table would vibrate when they were doing whatever it was they did.
The waitress was correct that our food was slow and it took forever to come out. Then she offered free desserts for waiting so long but we didn't have time to wait around for those so we cut our losses and left. Our entrees were okay but not great.
We were hoping that this could be our every Sunday meal place since it's right down the road. I guess we'll keep looking...
This is my most favorite resturant ever! The food is excellent, service is great and a comfortable atmosphere. They have an extensive menu that offers something for everyone and the prices are reasonable.
