Viognier is a sleek contemporary restaurant combining the best of Pacific Rim cuisine into a wonderful dining experience. The interior has high ceilings, picture windows and clean modern lines rendered in pale wood and indirect lighting. The seasonal menu usually includes vegetarian pot stickers, flavorful house-made soups of the day, rack of lamb with cherries as well as a host of tempting desserts. The service is impeccable from the well-trained staff, reminiscent of servers in a French bistro.

Great Lunch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/20/08
I went there for lunch with the office and had a really nice experience. It's located on the top floor of Draeger's, so its fun to walk through and see all the displays. The tables are nicely spaced apart and the conversation is quiet (definatley nicer than the food court). The food was fresh and really well prepared. Some standouts: Onion Soup-Nice and rich, thick, crunchy sourdough baquette with melted cheese. Spinach salad with shrimp and scallop-Big Scallops, nicely seared, fresh shaved apple was a nice counterpoint. Squash Risotto-perfectley cooked. Service was friendly and efficient, we were in and out in about an hour. Kudos Viognier.

Very slow service-no professionalism
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/07
When it first opened, Viognier was one of my favorite restaurants. I must regrettably say that the extremely poor and slow service that one routinely now gets, has made me stop eating there. The atmosphere is nice. The menu choices are hit and miss. The meat dishes and the desserts being the best. Everything else is so-so. Just to give you an idea, it takes 20 minutes plus on average to get your drink order and 1 1/2 hours to get your main dish. Dessert takes another 1/2 hour of waiting. For a better experience, try Capellini's or Kingfish(alot more fun, great service and okay food but great prices) all nearby walking distance.
