Hi! This restaurant is amazing and out of the 100's and 1000's of times i have been to the restaurant, it has been amazing. The wait staff is nice, and I had seen this restaurant on Fox News when James Ricciuti (the owner) had cooked a tuna. It looked amazing and i had to try the food. Also, the family who owns the restaurant is really nice. I had a very enjoyable time there and I am hoping to go back soon. Although they are known for their brick-oven pizza, all their other food is amazing also. I would give this place a 15 star review and also something cool about this place is that it is "haunted"!

Went to Ricciuti's for dinner last Wednesday around 6:30p without a reservation but we were seated immediately. Decor is a little inconsistent but had great food. Both of us chose to order from the "3 for $30" menu and weren't disappointed. We had to get to the theater before 8pm and the waiter made sure our food arrived on time. Hangar steak was very tender and mouthwatering with the lime/peanut sauce, salads were fresh and deserts beautifully presented. What a great find and we'll be back.

Best in Olney. You will have to wait a bit longer, but that's the whole philosophy of the place: slow cooking made from scratch. I don't agree that it is pricey - unless you compare to a faster place that buys frozen stuff from who knows where, of course.

Worst Service Ever! If you like Rude service, overpriced cold food and you have to get up to get any kind of refills of water. It took over 50 min just to get my salad. When asked why it took so long I was told that everything is handmade and takes longer. Guess thats why my steak was stone cold. Save yourself and Dont Go!

Wonderful Dining Experience - Superb Management
By Tocayo, 11/26/08
My wife and I booked a table next to the fireplace for Valentine's day. It was a perfect atmosphere for a relaxed romantic evening. Unfortunately, there was an ice storm that day, and the power was cut. Since they had to shut down the kitchen, the managers provided complimentary drinks to those who had not been served dinner (a nice touch). We had already received our dinner, so we continued to eat by candle and fireplace light. Such a romantic venue could not have been planned. The only problem occured when our credit card was accidentally billed twice for the dinner (due to the restaurant trying to get our payment through between power outages). When we noticed this and called Ricciuti's, the second billing was immediately eliminated with their deepest apologies. They not only apologized, but offered us free items if we would come back (again, top class management). The wait staff was top notch (even in an ice storm) and so very accomodating. Yet -- to be honest -- I was happy to pay full price for the romantic dinner I had that weekend. Great food, wonderful surroundings, and amazing customer service (both during and after our meal).

Ricciuti's delivers on atmosphere, service, quality of food, wines, mixed drinks, and on top of that they order as much as they can from local growers. James Ricciuti cares about his clients experience and it shows. If you want a slam-dunk nice evening head to Olney and just relax and enjoy with friends or family.

Consistently excellent food at a reasonable price, in a pleasant atmosphere. Quiet and classy. You don't have to drive to the city to enjoy a sophisticated dining experience.
