It stinks and there are gangs in there, the boncers are gang members.
they deal with durgs. bar lets most young people get drunk and they get
out drive. So they kill themself and others. I think bar should be checked
out and these people shuld held responsbale. sart saveing young men!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cornerstone has a great location, and they have the fortunate circumstacne of being adjacent to the University of Maryland. They also have good burgers and drink specials. However, since I'm a part of the post-college crowd, Cornerstone has nothing to offer me, other than a place to watch college the denim-clad college crowd try to be seen at one of the 4 drinking establishments in College Park. I also hear that it's very easy for under-age students to get in if they know one of the doormen or if they're an attractive 19 year old female. Too young of a crowd for my taste.
Decent place to get a drink and grab a bite while drinking. Nothing special and nothing horrible. College Park is limited so this is a decent place to go but can get extremely crowded on the big college party nights.
I have a problem with Cornerstone Grill.... I am too willing to give it the benifit of the doubt. Everytime I pass it, I think about going there, in hopes that the food will have gotten better.... and I often almost fall in that same trap until the people I am with remind me of the food. The food is about the most generic that you can find in College Park. Nothing exciting there at all, and that is keeping in mind that there is an Applebies 200 feet down Route 1. This place, however, is specifically known for it's bar. IT is one of the 2 mainstays of the College Park Bar Scene, mostly because it is walking distance from both the campus and the frat/sororities. If you are looking for a drink, this is a fine watering hole... just don't go there expecting to eat as well.
