Caribbean Delight II, Beltsville

I purchased some food after it was recommended by a coworker. I got my cc receipt to sign which I did and then was given the detail receipt which was $20 less. The food was not that great and they took out tip without my permission. So, people do not use credit card at this establishment. I will not be purchasing or visiting this place again. There needs to be a reporting authority as this is illegal to take tip without getting the proper permission.

I ate here today for lunch, the jerk salmon special. Was I surprised to find that the lunch price was 18.00 for this very small piece of salmon. The service was terrible. I've eaten here several times before, and the food and service was very good on those occasions. I won't be going back any time soon. I was very disappointed:(

I enjoyed the food alot. I had not been here in a while but I was in the mood for some west indian food and I was very pleased. I prefer my food to be slow and it tastes great than rushed and tastes poorly. There is a demand for great west indian eateries and great upscale west indian restaurants in this maryland area. I noticed the cleanliness of the place also.

I usually don't write negative reviews but in this case it was mandatory I left feedback so others could atleast know that this is the most awful Jamaica food one can find. First of all it is rushed and the rice an peas wasn't hard and nt left to be fully cooked. We order fish, oxtail, curry goat & curry and jerk chicken. Everyone hated the food and was disgusted with the poor quality of the salad almost looking unedible more used to fill the box:( I never felt like food could Taste so badly no one would eat it until after orderi g from this restaurant. Also we decided before writing this review to call and inform the manager. He was very dismissive and rude. He also said do whatever we like and hung the telephone up. Very poor customer service:( stay away from this place... It's as gross as gross can get!! And that's a fact!

I eat here a lot. the service is never great but the food is almost always. I had a similar experience of them taking extra tips from my credit card. Just remember to pay with cash.

I must say that the food is really good. I've tried a couple of Caribbean restaurants and the jerk chicken is always dry, the plaintain, always green. But this time, I will definitely go to them again. Everything was seasoned well. Slow service, but at least it was very friendly.
