The course itself is a pretty course, well maintained. That being said, we were disappointed in the conditions in which we had to play. We we arrived for our tee time, we were informed that there had been over seeding on the course, and it was golf cart path and rough only. (for the carts) . It would have been a good idea had they mentioned that when we called for our tee time. We could have made a time at their other course, Cranes Roost. We were offered a tee time at the second course, but at a 90 minute wait. Really?? We went ahead, on Otter, as keeping to the path and rough would not be outrageous. What was outrageous, ridiculous, and down right unpleasant was trying to play with the sprinklers going off on every hole. Not just in the fairway, but on the tee box and greens. Really?? No warning there! Why not just shot the course down? Why were we not told when our tee time was made? Why did they wait to tell us of the over seeding when we arrived? (they said they started it Monday, our tee time was made on Tuesday. They knew!! Ten to send golfers off, and have the sprinklers on at all times, well that is just asinine. It was an unpleasant day. So, to the management, REALLY?? You need to do a better job of managing the situation. First impressions are the most important. Not impressed with the overall handling of the situation.
