Hakkasan, London

Have to start off by saying I live in NYC and have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the world. I thought this place was absolutely "much ado 'bout nothing". To me, it was so pretentious and cold and I thought the food was good, but certainly not outstanding. The hostess was downright rude, and I thought the waiters were indifferent. We really could not wait to get out of there. Yeah, it was filled with hip, beautiful londoners, so if that is what you're looking for...this place is for you. They have a sister restaurant in in SOHO (can't remember name) that was a much nicer place, much less obnoxious, and the food was great. They also make some of the best chocolates I've ever had.

Firstly I loved the food. I went there last month. We managed to get a table same day in 1hour notice as my friend is quite well known there. I have been to many top restaurants in London but Hakkasan without a doubth serves the best food i have ever tasted in my entire life.I have tried almost everything in the menu and there is not even 1 dish i would say was avarage. The only thing that i didn't like was the noise. The place is too big, very high ceilings and over crowded so therefore its very noisy. If u expect a quite dinner...hakkasan is not a best place for that. But if you want a eat PROPER,EXCELLENT AND MOUTH LICKING FOOD...You will remember this place for a looong time and will keep going back there for more because surely you will never ever taste food as good as Hakkasan anywhereelse in this planet.
